Online Classes
The pandemic indeed caused havoc in all our lives and sent the world into lockdown. However, it also opened doors to many industries that could transition online. One such industry was the education sector. At Wonders Kids, we are always on the lookout for opportunities to learn and teach. In July 2020, a casual call from a parent based in the US gave us the idea of starting an online preschool for their young kids who couldn’t attend in-person school. We embraced the challenge and gave ourselves three months to make it happen. What began as an experiment turned into a successful full-fledged preschool/kindergarten for the entire academic year. The sessions were filled with engaging themes, hands-on experiments, skits, show-and-tell, flipped classrooms, mathematics, art and crafts, and celebrations. Conducting all of this online was daunting, but we faced it head-on. Our students confidently entered kindergarten, with many of them reading at a Grade 2 level. Even after regular school resumed, the journey continued. We also offer weekend and evening programs, along with unique workshops around holidays like summer and Thanksgiving.
